Anxiety can take many forms.

For some people, it looks like constant worry, racing thoughts, or a sense of dread they can’t shake. For others, it shows up as perfectionism, trouble sleeping, difficulty concentrating, or even panic attacks.

No matter how anxiety appears, this condition is extremely common and highly treatable. You don’t have to keep feeling trapped in cycles of fear or overwhelm.

How therapy can help

Our work will be focused on both building practical tools for managing anxious thoughts and feelings, as well as increasing your psychological flexibility to tolerate them in the first place. Together, we’ll focus on:

  • Identifying unhelpful thinking patterns and shifting your relationship with them

  • Learning evidence-based coping strategies you can use day to day

  • Building skills to manage stress at work, in relationships, and during life transitions

My Approach

I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), both of which are research-backed and effective for anxiety. These approaches focus on changing your relationship to anxious thoughts, rather than trying to eliminate them entirely, so you can live more freely and fully.

In addition, I incorporate mindfulness practices as well as emerging, neuroscience-informed methods that help calm the nervous system and reduce anxiety at its root.
