Couples Therapy in San Marino

Serving Pasadena, the San Gabriel Valley, Northeast Los Angeles, and all of California via Telehealth

Helping partners repair, reconnect, and build lasting love

Even the strongest relationships face challenges. Maybe arguments have become more frequent, intimacy feels distant, or trust has been broken. When couples feel disconnected, the future of the relationship can feel uncertain. And because so much of our happiness — and even our sense of safety in the world — is tied to the quality of our closest relationship, it makes sense to invest in nurturing that bond and repairing it when it’s been strained.

How couples therapy can help

Research-based couples therapy such as The Gottman Method provides tools to strengthen your connection and navigate challenges with compassion. Together, we’ll work to:

  • Improve communication and reduce conflict

  • Rebuild trust after betrayal or infidelity

  • Restore intimacy and closeness

  • Build shared goals and meaning in your relationship

    My approach

While I utilize many different therapeutic modalities as a couples therapist, including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems, my work is primarily guided by the Gottman Method. I have extensive experience and education in the Gottman Method, including Level 1 and Level 2 trainins, as well as specialized training in healing from infidelity.

Our work will include:

  • Assessing your relationship strengths and challenges with Gottman tools

  • Practicing proven strategies to reduce conflict and strengthen friendship

  • Restoring safety, intimacy, and trust — especially after a rupture

  • Building long-term resilience with the “Sound Relationship House” framework
